Spring Beauty

I walked up the pasture to capture these beauties.  I think someone should research what makes crocuses so strong.  How do they grow through the snow and cold weather to bloom perfectly on Easter weekend?!?  I think if we figured out what makes them so resilient, we could have some worthwhile info on our hands---perhaps helping us make our crops more resilient?!? Beyond their resilience---I don't think there is a more breathtaking flower.  Just when we think Winter is going to last forever, up pops these buggers.....

Egg Hunt!

Caroline LOVED her first egg hunt experience.  When her back was turned we'd quick grab eggs out of her basket and re-hide them.  "Look guys!  I found another one!"   and "Oh my gosh, here it is!!"

Spring has sprung.

and with spring "sprunging" comes mud.  Lots and lots of mud.
