Fall Beauties

I went home this weekend to take part in a beautiful wedding of a high school classmate.  What a fun couple!  They radiate happiness.  Below are some pictures of them and some cute kiddos I found along the way!!

It's time to ...

pull out an oldie, but a goodie :)  This is a photograph I took of two lovely sisters last year with my plain old point and shoot camera.  Sometimes I wish I still lived in Fargo because I love, love, LOVE shooting downtown!   I will be there some weekends this fall, so let me know if you'd like a session booked!

I Need Kids

or adults, or couples, or families to photograph!!  Until then you'll have to look at photos of scenery which are WAY not as exciting :)  These were taken this summer at a state park in New Mexico called City of Rocks.  We had to drive to the middle of the desert and then all of a sudden there was this huge mass of these round rocks!  Whenever I see a new, exciting place I often think of the person who first discovered it.  For instance, this place...there you were, walking in a desert, and BAM a huge pile of rocks about a half mile long and wide.  How fun would that be?!?

Emily Hears a Who!

You know the book/movie Horton Hears a Who?!?   Well, I woke up last morning in a frenzy because I thought there was frost on the ground.  Much to my relief I found it was just dew, which I LOVE!  Don't the little beads of water remind you of the little fleck of dust?  I stopped to think what it would be like if that little bead of dew was a whole different world.  Kind of crazy to think about...and made a GREAT creative writing assignment for my students :)

This little girl is the cover girl for what Sunshine and Smiles Photography is all about---capturing natural smiles! I might be a little biased because she is blood-related, but take a look and see for yourself.
