Surviving Rough Times

I've been thinking so hard of all the flooding out in Western ND.  While I'm here wandering around Wisconsin, there isn't much I can do to help, but I was climbing around some rock cliffs in the Eau Claire Dells when I found this grass growing between the rocks.  It made me think of how hard it had to fight to survive, one seed in a rock!  Stay strong North Dakota!!

I would say that I could get used to this whole not having a job thing :) 

Flooding

Since I left Bismarck for the summer I haven't been down in the action with the rest of my friends and family, but it appears as if the river might be holding for the time being; however, it has been at this level for almost two weeks now and it JUST made national news this morning for a 45 sec. blurb.  Please pray for the western part of ND, as the water is supposed to stay this high until August.  AUGUST!  There are many families displaced and many houses in danger or already lost.  Below is  a link to some aerial footage taken by the National Guard.  Please check it out.  The Video also shows some aerial footage.
