Egg Hunt!
Caroline LOVED her first egg hunt experience. When her back was turned we'd quick grab eggs out of her basket and re-hide them. "Look guys! I found another one!" and "Oh my gosh, here it is!!" |

15 days.....
until I get to see his face! (unless you count skype, which is oh so wonderful, but really not the same.) If there are any other long-distance love birds checking this out---take a minute to check out OMGpop.com. You can play online games (checkers, battle ship, etc.) and change from the "Hello, how was your day?" routine :) SO much fun! Also---I am going to make another plug for the Love for Me project. PLEASE take a look at the link to the right and help support the project if you can. |

Love from Me project
I submitted a few photos for an awesome project and am so excited to say that one of mine got chosen.
What is the Love from Me project? It's an inspirational table book full of art, with captions to inspire those going through cancer (or any hard times for that matter.)
The best part? ALL funds raised from the project are donated to The Rose Fund, a registered charity to help cancer patients who are facing financial difficulty as the result of dealing with their cancer treatments.
If you feel moved to do so, please buy a book today. If anything, check out the book here. It can be previewed and purchased online. (Check page 41 to see mine!)

GIVEAWAY!! Where Geek meets Art
I have a super fun giveaway for you! Check out Que Interesante (Where Geek Meets Art) for some super fun, perfectly geeky ideas.
The winner of the giveaway will win one set of chemistry crayon labels (and a whole bunch of new knowledge!).
Children play and draw with crayons practically every day, so why not make the experience more educational? This website sells labels to stick on the crayons in a variety of basic packs of crayons so that while children are coloring, they are also exposed to the names of chemicals that will make those colors! So instead of thinking "I want green" they will think "I want Barium Nitrate Ba(NO3)2 Flame" and then when they take chemistry in high school and their teacher sets some gas on fire and it makes a green color and they ask the class what chemical it was your student will know it was Barium! Genius!
To enter:
1) Visit www.chemistrycrayons.com and tell me what your favorite item is. Please include your email in with your comment.
2) For an extra entry, become a follower of my blog. Leave another comment telling me you did so!

Giveaway ends this upcoming Sunday at noon!

Caroline--2 1/2
I was in Fargo for the weekend and when a photography session fell through I begged asked Mandy nicely if we could go downtown to take some pictures of Caroline. Actually, she had the idea of going to the Plains Art Museum and then found out that the Avalon was free! Yippee!! She's also the one that found these cute little green pieces of wall. I'm thinking of hiring her to find me funky places to take pictures..... ENJOY!
If you don't know Caroline, this one above won't be as cute. But if you know her she makes this face, sighs really loud, and then goes, "Emmmmmmmmmy," in an exasperated voice. :)

Sunshine that makes me smile!
I once again was late last week due to having to take pictures of the sunrise before leaving for school. I swear to you I did not edit this at all. It first reminded me of sherbert ice cream, and then reminded me of a sweet shirt I probably had growing up in the 80's :) What does it remind you of?
